The Wiesbaden Library hosts Chess Club every Sunday at noon. All ages and skill levels are welcome to join.
Each session will start with a short learning moment on strategy followed by game play.
The club uses chesskid.com to organize membership and to provide a safe platform for members to play outside of club meetings. The technology used during the short teaching sessions demonstrates chess maneuvers and chesskid.com access (acquired via special funding as part of the Library of the Future initiative).
While all ages are welcome -- participants must be able to sit still during the instruction and game play -- and follow the rules of the game.

Starting June 13, the Library management system, Bibliovation, will be undergoing a transiton phase. Expected completion around June 25. Patrons can still check out materials at the desk or use the hand-written checkout cards during 24/7.
