“Hide Away” shot to number 40 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart, peaking at 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2016 she released her debut studio album, Sit Still, Look Prettyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPHKkewD1G0

In November 2016, Daya released her song “Words” as her third single from her debut album Sit Still, Look Pretty. By February it won the Grammy for Best Dance Recording – the singer’s first Grammy Award win.

In 2017, Daya received a Grammy for her featured performance on The Chainsmokers’ song “Don’t Let Me Down.”

In 2019 Daya released five singles, including “Insomnia” and “Left Me Yet” originally meant for her second studio album, “Forward Motion” for the movie Late Night, “Keeping It in the Dark” from the soundtrack of the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, and “Wanted” with Swedish music production duo NOTD.

On October 9, 2020 she released “First Time,” the lead single from her upcoming second studio album due for release in 2021. This song is her first song since 2017 not released through Interscope Records but by her new label, Sandlot Records.

Expect an evening of magnetic vocals, driving beats and EDM excellence – the perfect start to the AFE Heat Wave summer music series.
