The Wiesbaden Library and the 2nd Theater Signal Brigade are teaming up to highlight the Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Prevention Program June 21-25. The Teal Shoes Event -- a visual impact event using painted teal shoes to represent survivors who filed restricted or unrestricted reports in Germany in fiscal year 2020 -- will be presented at the following locations:
- June 21 -- Wiesbaden Library from noon to 2 p.m.
- June 22 -- Wiesbaden Health Clinic from 10 a.m. to noon
- June 23 -- Main Exchange in Hainerberg from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- June 24 -- Tony Bass Auditorium from 8-10 a.m.
- June 25 -- Wiesbaden Sports and Fitness Center from 8-10 a.m. and at the Strong Europe Cafe Dining Facility from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Many more assaults go unreported with one in three women and one in six men experiencing sexual abuse in their lifetimes.
Please note: In case of inclement weather, this event will take place July 6-9.

Starting June 13, the Library management system, Bibliovation, will be undergoing a transiton phase. Expected completion around June 25. Patrons can still check out materials at the desk or use the hand-written checkout cards during 24/7.
