Wispertal Hike And Beer Tasting

Wiesbaden Outdoor Recreation offers a day trip to the Wispertal on Oct. 2. Participants will meet at a brewery (this is a self-drive event -- have a designated driver) and then head out on the hike with a guide who will provide information about the area.
The hike is about 10 kilometers long, and participants will have the option to turn back after five kilometers.
At the mid-point of the hike there will be a stop with a couple of different beers to sample and a small snack.
The hike will end at the Fox River Brewing establishment in Obergladbach where participants will receive a flight of beer (four different types, plus a bonus taster), bratwurst and potato salad. Soft drinks and water will be provided for younger participants and designated drivers.
